Hi
Another weekend without football for many of us, first the snow then the flood!
as always its been another busy week, last week the Inclusive Football hit the headlines in the County, this week it is Girls Football. I attended a meeting earlier this week with a good turn out from around the county, there is a big push on developing and promoting girls football which we at Harborough Town fully support with three current squads at U12,U14 & U16 and with plans to expand further. I have just applied for a £500 funding to help us build towards a possible U10 squad next year and to try and strengthen the current squads, with the funding we hope to have a harder drive into schools to promote the game and the club and all it offers, so if you know of any would be footballers from any age bracket please bring them along.
Also this week I think we may have at last resolved the issue of the stampede of livestock that has been causing us a few problems, following a meeting with Farmer and Authorities we hope this is now resolved, the farmer intends to BEEF up his fencing methods!
As always if any one has any questions in respect of the above or any other issue please drop me a line.

Evening, hope you all had a good weekend, not much footy but hope to be back to normal next week.
i had the priveledge of being invited to the new Inclusive Football re-Launch, Inclusive football is aimed at those wanna-be footballers of any ability who are normally excluded from the game through Physical or other impairment, HTFC have been running a specialised section for this group of players for the past few years but are keen to try and get the message more widely spread, we would be delighted to see any new players or coaches to join this developing section within the club so if you know of anyone who you may feel could benefit from this worthwhile element of the Club please pass on the message.
In attending this weeks session it has reaffirmed that all the work we do with these wonderful children of varying ages through to adulthood is very much worth while and enjoyed by so many participants and coaches, I and coaches working regularly with these players are continually humbled by the experience.
If you feel you may know of someone who could benefit or if you are a coach willing to get involved please give me a call or drop an email.
